BREAST CANCER

The most common type of cancer in women is breast cancer.

It is believed that this type of cancer is more prone to people suffering from obesity 2 and 3 degrees, with a hereditary predisposition, who have bad addictions or lead a sedentary lifestyle. Doctors also consider women at risk who:

  • never gave birth to children,
  • never breastfed children,
  • had multiple abortions,
  • have been on estrogen therapy for a long time,
  • have a history of early menstruation,
  • have late menopause (age 50 or older).

Contrary to common belief, breast cancer occurs not only in women but also, albeit much less frequently, in men.

Always consult a doctor if you have noticed at least one of these symptoms:
⚠️ painless “lump” in the breast;
⚠️change in the shape of the breast;
⚠️ pain or discomfort in the breasts;
⚠️ alteration in the structure of a skin area on the chest: thickening and appearance of large pores;
⚠️ changes in the skin on the breasts;
⚠️ thickened, swollen, or inverted nipple;
⚠️ thickening under the armpit;
⚠️ any discharge from the nipple outside of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The treatment of breast cancer consists of surgery, radiation therapy, and medication treatment, which includes hormone therapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy.

Thanks to timely diagnosis, this disease is quite successfully treated. It is necessary to conduct a monthly self-examination of the breast, and after the age of 40, have a mammogram every year.

CONSULTATION WITH A SPECIALIST WILL HELP NOT TO MISS PRECIOUS TIME. DO NOT SELF-MEDICATE, CONSULT A DOCTOR!
