To determine whether you are a good candidate for hair transplantation, it is necessary to receive a quality initial consultation and an assessment of the donor area. For this, you need to be prepared to answer the following questions from the consultant:
- How long ago did hair loss begin, and is it ongoing or has it stopped?
 - Are you using any remedies or treatments against hair loss?
 - What is the condition of your scalp?
 - Have you consulted a trichologist or undergone hormone tests (such as TSH, T3, T4, antibodies to TG, LH, FSH, testosterone, prolactin, DHT, cortisol)?

To determine the number of grafts, analyze the donor area, pricing, and assess feasibility of the procedure in your specific case, it is necessary to send a photo of your head.

Before your arrival in Istanbul, the doctor will give recommendations and preliminary comments based on your photos. After you decide to come, on the day before the surgery, you will have a consultation with the transplant doctor at the clinic.
During the consultation, the doctor:
- Will answer all questions regarding the condition of your hair.
 - Will carefully examine the condition of the donor area.
 - Will mark the graft planting zone and discuss with the patient the curve of the front line, the direction of growth of the grafts to be transplanted, and finalize the number of grafts to be transplanted.

Blood is to be taken just before surgery and analyzed for infections in the patient's blood
Hair follicle transplantation is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed under local anesthesia.
The main condition for the successful procedure is your moral readiness for it. Make sure that you have all of your preliminary questions answered.
What needs to be done a week before the surgery
Many patients, in their fight against hair loss, resort to additional cosmetic and medications. One month before the transplant procedure, it is important to stop using the above-mentioned products, as their use can negatively affect the result of hair transplantation.
One week before surgery, it is necessary to:
- Abstain from alcohol.
 - Stop or minimize the use of tobacco products.
 - Stop taking medications that affect blood clotting.
 - Stop scalp massage.
 - Reduce sports activities, and try to avoid stress as it affects the fluctuation of hormones.

What needs to be done on the eve of the surgery:
- Try to get a good night’s sleep. The hair transplant procedure lasts many hours (from 4 and more), so it is important for the patient to be well-rested before the start.
 - It is very important to completely give up smoking and alcohol.
 - Do not consume products containing Vitamin C.

On the transplantation day
- Have a good breakfast before coming to the clinic.
 - Wear clothes that do not need to be taken off over your head.
 - Bring your identification documents.
 - A positive attitude and good mood are a must!
