According to the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) data, Mayo Clinic is one of the transplantation centers with the highest number of living donor kidney transplantations operations conducted in the U.S. during the 2020-2022 period. Additionally, it is a leading and famous transplantation center with one of the largest living-donor kidney transplant programs in the United States.

However, the data below which compares the number of operations performed in our transplantation center in Turkiye and Mayo Clinic reveals that experience and the capacity in kidney transplantation in Mayo Clinic is way below the experience and the capacity our clinic has. Furthermore, to obtain a much more objective and comprehensive comparative conclusion in terms of living donor organ transplantations between Turkiye and US, we suggest comparing the statistics of our clinic in Turkey and the first three largest clinics in US in terms of living donor organ transplantations. The result is the same and indicates the superiority of our transplantation center in organ transplantations compared to those in the U.S.
