WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A DONOR IN TURKEY:<\/h6>\n
    \n
  • a relative up to the 4th generation of the patient;<\/li>\n
  • a relative of the spouse up to the 4th generation (if the patient has been married for more than two years);<\/li>\n
  • the patient\u2019s husband or wife (if married for more than two years);<\/li>\n
  • ex-husband;<\/li>\n
  • ex-wife;<\/li>\n
  • non-biological father or mother, if married to the patient\u2019s parent for more than 2 years, as well as their children;<\/li>\n
  • a family friend (requires approval from the ethics committee).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If the donor is a family friend, seek confirmation from the ethics committee. The committee is a judicial body independent of the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

    HOW MUCH IS COMMISSION?<\/h6>\n

    Commission is charged to cover several services:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • notary fees;<\/li>\n
    • sworn translator fees;<\/li>\n
    • commission fee;<\/li>\n
    • consultation and processing;<\/li>\n
    • documents for the commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The total amount due for the donor confirmation will be 6000$<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

      WHAT DOES THE DONOR NEED TO PROVIDE?<\/h6>\n

      Tests:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, AIDS;<\/li>\n
      • Hemogram (general blood test);<\/li>\n
      • Creatinine, ALT, AST, GGT, bilirubin, urea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Also important are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • donor\u2019s height and weight;<\/li>\n
        • age. Not older than 55 years, but if a person does not have health problems, people up to 60 years old are admitted to donorship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          What are the contraindications?<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • diabetes;<\/li>\n
          • blood pressure issues;<\/li>\n
          • oncology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

            WHAT DOCUMENTS DOES A DONOR NEED TO SUBMIT?<\/h6>\n
              \n
            1. international passport (personal data, title page);<\/li>\n
            2. birth certificate;<\/li>\n
            3. certificate of residence registration (registration);<\/li>\n
            4. marriage certificate (if the donor is married);<\/li>\n
            5. income statement from the workplace;<\/li>\n
            6. bank statement, money transfer history for the last 3 months;<\/li>\n
            7. certificate of no criminal record;<\/li>\n
            8. certificate of no debts;<\/li>\n
            9. psychological test (this document is done in Turkey upon the donor\u2019s arrival).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

              WHAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE FOR A DONOR WHEN THE DOCUMENTS ARE REVIEWED BY THE ETHICS COMMITTEE?<\/h6>\n

              • Documentary evidence of close relationship (this can be an old photo or a long correspondence). The purpose of this document is to demonstrate longstanding acquaintance between the patient and the donor.<\/li>\n
              • Documentary evidence of donor\u2019s financial good standing: property ownership, bank account balance, own business, etc.<\/li>\n
              • Documentary evidence confirming the donor\u2019s significance: volunteer activities, distinguished titles (such as doctor, teacher, military personnel, athlete), or receiving a diploma with honors\/gold medal for academic achievement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
